General Principle of Combustion

We will deal with three Stages of Combustion of planet:

SUN HOLDING THE LOWEST DEGREE

All these will apply only if the Sun or the other planet is a functional malefic to the ascendant.

When the orb is below 1 degree, the house in which this happens is destroyed.
When the orb is below 2 degree, the house in which this happens is very badly afflicted.
When the orb is below 5 degree, this brings troubles to the life of that person in the house where this happens.
When the orb is below 10 degree, this brings some problems to the life of that person in the house where this happens. But this will be temporary.
When the orb is below 15 degree, this brings painful experiences to the life of that person in the house where this happens. But this will be temporary.
When the orb is above 15 degree, there will affliction only if the Sun is a functional malefic.

SUN HOLDING THE HIGHEST DEGREE

All these will apply only if both the Sun and the other planet is a functional benefic to the ascendant.

When the orb is below 1 degree, the house in which this happens is Over Powered. This excess power may bring good or bad according to other conditions. If this is a benefic combination, there will be windfall gains in life of that person.
When the orb is below 5 degree, the house in which this happens is has some over doings. If this is a benefic combination, there will be gains in life of that person.
When the orb is below 10 degree, this brings some gains to the life of that person in the house where this happens.
When the orb is below 15 degree, this brings some good experiences to the life of that person in the house where this happens. But this may be temporary.
When the orb is above 15 degree, there will be gains if the Sun is a functional benefic and a benefic in conjunction.

WHEN ECLIPSED

Eclipsed Planet will have deadly effects. Both being a benefic to the ascendant and in a benefic house in a friendly sign can reduce the ill effects.
